Set high in the South Herefordshire countryside, Barn Owl Retreat, Peregrine Retreat and Kestrel Retreat enjoy an elevated position with far-reaching views across the surrounding landscape.
Despite their peaceful setting, the lodge remains easily accessible to local towns, including Hereford (8 miles), Ross-on-Wye (10 miles) and Monmouth (12 miles). The M50 motorway (11 miles) provides straightforward connections from across the country.
For those travelling by rail, the nearest station is Hereford Railway Station (approximately 10 miles / 20–30 minutes by car), with wider connections available via Gloucester Railway Station (28 miles / 40–50 minutes) and Newport Railway Station (37 miles / 50–60 minutes). Surrounded by open countryside, the area offers excellent opportunities for walking, cycling and exploring, with the Wye Valley, Symonds Yat, Forest of Dean, Offa's Dyke, Malvern Hills, Bannau Brycheiniog (Brecon Beacons) and more all within easy reach.
