The main living areas are located on the first floor — also accessible via a stairlift — and are arranged to create a sociable and well-balanced setting for group stays.

At the heart of the barn is a spacious open-plan dining and lounge area, where long tables comfortably seat all guests — ideal for shared meals, celebrations and extended evenings together. The dining space also features a wine cooler and music system with Bluetooth connectivity, alongside a large map of the area and a folder of recommended walks to help plan outings.

The lounge area, set within the same open-plan space, offers relaxed seating for the whole group, along with a Smart TV, books and board games. Character features, including wrought iron light fittings, exposed roof timbers and a stained-glass window, add warmth and personality to this shared living space.

The kitchen, located just off the dining area, is well-equipped for larger groups, with a central island, dual fuel range cooker, multiple fridges, freezer, two dishwashers and a wide range of appliances — including a microwave, air fryer, Magimix and George Foreman grill — alongside a comprehensive range of cookware and serving pieces. For a more relaxed experience, many guests choose to arrange a private chef — allowing you to enjoy time together while everything is prepared and served for you.

A separate cinema room offers a more immersive space, with tiered seating, surround sound and full access to Sky, Sky Cinema, Sky Sports, TNT, Disney+, Netflix, HBO Max and Discovery+ — a standout feature enjoyed by all ages.

Trevase Granary sleeps up to 18 guests across eight individually styled en-suite bedrooms, offering both flexibility and comfort. Five bedrooms are located on the ground floor, with a further three on the second floor. The second-floor bedrooms retain their original 18th-century oak A-frame beams, adding character and charm.

All bedrooms feature high-quality British-made mattresses (Hypnos or Harrison Spinks), hypoallergenic bedding and Egyptian cotton linen, ensuring a consistently comfortable and restful stay.

Alongside the cinema room, one of the standout features of Trevase Granary is the separate, purpose-built games room, located approximately 25 metres from the barn across a quiet, level concrete yard, with open views towards the Black Mountains.

This fully self-contained space is exclusively for guests and has been designed for both relaxation and entertainment. Inside, you’ll find:

• Fully equipped bar with wine cooler, beer fridge and cocktail accessories
• Kitchenette with fridge-freezer, dishwasher and microwave
• Pool table, table tennis and table football
• Bean bag area with Smart TV and Xbox 360
• Comfortable seating area and music system
• Changing room with shower and WC

The indoor hydrotherapy hot tub (seating up to six adults) is also located here, with bi-fold doors opening directly onto the patio — allowing the space to be enjoyed throughout the year.

A wide selection of outdoor games and sports equipment is also available, including cricket, badminton, rounders, football, a rugby ball and giant Jenga.

The separation from the main barn allows guests to make full use of the facilities while maintaining a more relaxed atmosphere in the main living areas — and many groups find they spend much of their time here.

The games room opens into a private, enclosed south-facing walled garden, creating a sheltered and sociable outdoor setting.

Bi-fold doors from both the hot tub area and bar/seating space lead onto a large patio, which includes:

• Outdoor seating for large groups
• Wood-fired pizza oven (available year-round)
• Large gas BBQ (available April–October)
• Outdoor dining area seating up to 18 guests
• Comfortable outdoor day bed (available May–October)
• Spacious lawn with football goal

The garden enjoys sunlight throughout the day and into the evening, making it a particularly lovely spot for relaxed afternoons and sunset drinks. In season, the fruit trees add an extra touch of character, often heavy with fruit and free for guests to enjoy.

The setting offers open countryside views, with farmland stretching beyond and far-reaching views towards the Black Mountains.

A coarse fishing lake is located approximately 800 metres (half a mile) from the property and is available for guest use (see ‘Fishing Breaks’ for more details).

As Trevase Granary sits on a working farm, you may also see seasonal farm activity or livestock nearby, adding to the character and authenticity of the setting.

Everything at Trevase Granary has been designed to support larger group stays with ease:

• EV charging: two Tesla points and one universal fast charger (see FAQ for details on usage and cost)
• Separate service block with laundry facilities (washing machine and tumble dryer)
• Secure storage for bicycles, fishing equipment, outdoor gear and golf clubs
• Fibre-to-the-premises WiFi throughout the property

The property is also part of Walkers Welcome and Cyclists Welcome schemes, reflecting its suitability for exploring the surrounding countryside.
